I am Cold. How About You??

I truly am not ready for winter. The cold weather has taken us by surprise and I am just not ready for it. My horses have winter coats starting and I could not believe it only took 24 hours from the shiny spring/summer coats I admired all spring and summer long. I brushed my hands on all their coats and thought to myself…can this be? You feel furry and soft. Oh no, could this be winter? I finally gave in to the season change. I have to admit I have not been a fan of picking and rummaging around for surprises in the rain and cold. Our high tunnel is great staying around 70 through the night and day. Outside I am slowly covering up things with hay for mulching.
