Prudens Purple first ripe heirloom tomato. This is a pink-rosy beauty I spotted out of the blue. Only one today, but once one ripens they all start to follow. Nature and Nurture Seeds. Another tidbit stated is this tomato is comparable to the beefsteak tomato (which is less finicky and less likely to crack) over the brandywine variety. Interesting article and tomato.
