Veronica is an interesting cauliflower/broccoli variety. It is lime green with pointed-spiraled pinnacles. I like the idea of broccoli and cauliflower getting together and combining their individual attributes! I understand it to have a somewhat nutty flavor over the white cauliflower heads. This variety is AKA known as Veronica Romensco (a gourmet favorite) and in researching more I read it has northern Italian roots dating back to the 15th century! Pretty cool and interesting wouldn’t you agree?
